Here’s how you can celebrate the Festival of Saint Valentino in Galle with AQUA Forte.
Begin your dining experience with a special welcome Rossini cocktail and an amuse bouche, which will awaken your palate and prepare it for the ensuing meal. The “Il nostro Benvenuto” consists of creamy baccala cod and a thin slice of beetroot carasau bread – after all how can you celebrate lovers’ day without a touch of pink?
To make the night even more special, we recommend you accompany this meal with a bottle of Bellavista Alma Grand Cuvée Franciacorta DOC. This premium Italian sparkling wine is fruity and floral with a refreshing palate and a creamy buttery texture. For the first course, enjoy our “Giardino di Mare”, a seafood and tapioca soup served with coral chips, squid ink sponge and topped with a Campari foam. This will be followed by the “Risotto Oro e Zafferano”, a decadent risotto prepared with Iranian saffron and served with an edible gold leaf for an extra flair. For your main course, enjoy this “Aragosta al Lampone”, which consists of a fresh pan fried lobster that is served with a raspberry reduction, water spinach and sesame chips.
Finally, indulge in a delicious dessert! Head Chef Roberto has created a dessert especially for the occasion. Delight in a Valentine’s Meringue made in the Pavlova style and topped with fresh red berries and Chantilly cream. This dish is the perfect way to end your romantic dinner at AQUA Forte, and to make the meal even more memorable, you should cap off the night with our homemade berries liqueur.
